Our Irish Gate Farm is the home of the Connemara stallion JEF Sir Lancelot. Although Lance has only lived here a few years, horses have been raised and shown here since 1989. On 120 acres just 15 miles north of Manhattan, Irish Gate Farm is located in the beautiful Flint Hills of Kansas.
Our horse world started with our kids and their 4-H horse projects. It grew from there to two ABRA World Championship Barrel Racing titles and showing in Western Pleasure at the American Paint Horse Association World Show. Pattie is the Administrator of the Kansas Horse Council and Bob is a construction superintendent for Coonrod and Associates, based in Wichita. We've enjoyed raising and showing horses for over 20 years, but we are thrilled to have discovered the wonderfully unique Connemara breed. Now, we are enjoying our granddaughter's endeavors as she discovers the wonderful world of horses. |
